Yajeed Acceptable Use Policy

WHAT IS THIS POLICY?
This Acceptable Use Policy (the "Policy") sets out the rules that apply when you use, or upload content to, the platform available at www.yajeed.com and through any Yajeed mobile application available from time to time (collectively, the "Platform"), make contact with other users of the Platform, link to the Platform or interact with the Platform in any other way.
It should be read alongside, and forms part of, our Yajeed Platform Terms of Use.
PROHIBITED USES
You may not use the Platform:
- if you are under the age of eighteen (18);
- in any way that breaches applicable local, national or international law, including but not limited to laws governing business transactions, investments, financial disclosures, company formation, and intellectual property in Dubai and the UAE;
- in any way that is unlawful or fraudulent, or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect, including misrepresentation of business financials, ownership, or investment opportunities;
- to bully, insult, intimidate or humiliate any person;
- to harm any person;
- to send, knowingly receive, upload, download, use or re-use any material which does not comply with our Content Standards; or
- to transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material (beyond legitimate Business Listings or Business Opportunities), or any other form of similar solicitation ("spam").
Content Standards
These content standards apply to any and all material which you contribute to the Platform (your "User Content"), including Business Listings, Business Opportunities, profiles, messages, and reviews. These content standards must be complied with in spirit as well as to the letter. Yajeed will determine, in its sole opinion, whether any User Content is in breach of these content standards.
Any User Content MUST:
- be accurate and truthful (where it states facts), including all financial data, business descriptions, and investment details;
- contain opinions that are genuinely held (where relevant);
- be verifiable where claims are made regarding business performance, market data, or investment projections; and
- comply with the law applicable in any country from which it is posted and to which the Platform is targeted, particularly UAE laws relevant to business and investment.
Any User Content MUST NOT:
- be likely to deceive any person, including false or misleading statements about a business's value, legal status, performance, or an investment's risk or potential returns;
- contain illegal content, or promote any illegal content or activity (e.g., money laundering, illegal business ventures, unregistered securities offerings);
- be defamatory of any person or entity;
- be obscene, offensive, hateful or inflammatory;
- bully, insult, intimidate or humiliate any person;
- encourage, promote or provide instructions for deliberate self-harm;
- encourage or promote terrorism;
- promote sexually explicit material;
- include child sexual abuse material;
- incite violence or hatred against particular groups;
- promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age;
- infringe any copyright, database right, patent, trade secret, or trademark of any other person or entity;
- include video content not legally permitted in any country from which it is posted and to which the Platform is targeted;
- breach any legal duty owed to a third-party, such as a contractual duty, a duty of confidentiality, or a fiduciary duty;
- be in contempt of court;
- invade another person's privacy or disclose confidential business information without authorization;
- impersonate any person or business, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or entity;
- give the impression that the User Content comes from, or is associated with or endorsed by, Yajeed if this is not the case; or
- contain any external advertising or promotional material not directly relevant to a legitimate Business Listing or Business Opportunity, or promote services or web links to other sites that compete with Yajeed or are unrelated to business buying, selling, or investment.
PROHIBITED BUSINESSES, SERVICES, OR INVESTMENTS
The Platform allows you to advertise existing businesses or business shares for sale, or new business ideas seeking investment. You must not advertise any business, service, or investment opportunity on the Platform which is included in our List of Prohibited Businesses and Services. This list, which may be updated from time to time, typically includes, but is not limited to:
- Illegal goods or services (e.g., narcotics, illegal weapons, prostitution).
- Businesses engaged in human trafficking or exploitation.
- Pyramid schemes, Ponzi schemes, or other inherently fraudulent investment schemes.
- Businesses involved in the production or distribution of hate speech, discriminatory content, or incitement to violence.
- Businesses that infringe on intellectual property rights.
- Gambling businesses without proper licensing and regulatory approval in the UAE.
- Adult entertainment services or products (unless specifically licensed and approved by Yajeed in writing, and strictly compliant with UAE morality laws).
- Any business, service, or investment opportunity that is deemed contrary to public order, morals, or the laws and regulations of the UAE by Yajeed in its sole discretion.
BREACH OF THIS POLICY
If we consider that you are in breach of this Policy, we may take such action as we deem appropriate in our sole opinion. Failure to comply with this Policy constitutes a breach of our Yajeed Platform Terms of Use which set out how you are permitted to use the Platform, and may result in us taking all or any of the following actions:
- issuance of a warning to you;
- immediate, temporary or permanent withdrawal of your right to use the Platform (including closure of your account, if you have one);
- immediate, temporary or permanent removal of any User Content (including Business Listings, Business Opportunities, or Reviews) found to be in breach;
- legal proceedings against you for reimbursement of all costs resulting from your breach, or any further legal action against you; and/or
- disclosure of such information to law enforcement authorities as we reasonably feel is necessary or as required by law.
Important Notes for Yajeed Users:
- This Policy is tailored specifically for Yajeed's business model in Dubai/UAE.
- Always ensure your content complies with UAE laws and regulations.
- Yajeed maintains a separate comprehensive "List of Prohibited Businesses and Services" that details specific prohibited activities.
- Consult with legal counsel if unsure about compliance with UAE regulations.
